★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff worked above and beyond to make things a good experience. The rooms were clean but had obvious damage to walls. Bathroom was very basic. No oven or dishwasher and the WiFi worked half the time.

The bus stop (from Rethymno) is right in front of the hotel. The beach is a 5 minute walk.
Free WiFi in our room had an excellent signal. The facilities were: 5 swimming pools, spa, restaurant, bar, kids playground. The only thing that is not free in the spa is the massage.
The staff was very friendly and discrete. Only things missing from this 3/4 star hotel is daily room cleaning and some activities for the guests/children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been to CRETE and stayed in Leoniki Residence for seven complete days during august 23rd to 30th 2014, we were a group of 17 from India, many of us have visited so many parts of the world but at crete leoniki residency we felt very peaceful, resort staff were very supportive and helping, resort was very neat and clean both the pools are in good condition and sizable to spare time, we have visited CRETE for the first time and are wiling to visit once again. We fell in love with Crete as a whole, the culture, the people and the food. Grand Leoniki Residence gave us the true Crete Experience, it felt very authentic from start to finish. Would put a higher rating if possible.
