This is perhaps one of the last remaining hidden gems of Europe. Alice and Kat are the most sincere and generous hosts we have ever met - the location, view and hotel are incredible, the food served on premise is spectacular and cooked authentically, and the agro tourism activities are genuine (we learned so much). I could not recommend another hotel - it has it all!

This place is really special. If you want a place where you can feel totally at home and enjoy everything that is great about Crete, this is it! Alice and Kat are a class act and their place is equally classy. They are great knowledgable hosts and will ensure you get all the information you need to have a great holiday. The food is excellent there and I would highly recommend eating there in the evening as well as for breakfast. The setting is fabulous, in the sleepy town of Milatos. It’s a far cry from the more touristy parts of the island. It’s also great value. And they’ve got some lovely kittens and a cat!

"You are now entering stress free zone" shows the sign at the entry gate of this beautiful place which is the best summary of our visit. We stood two weeks in this nice and peaceful place with our 8months old son. Alice and Kat are lovely and taking care of the guests in every detail. They prepared everything even for our son to feel well and have a relaxed time. Rooms are carefully selected and created with a lot of nice details, we had a scenic view over the bay. Pool and garden are nice so we decided to stay some days just relaxing. For a good drink they have a bar serving all things you need. Some beautiful bays and beaches are close by and the surrounding area is nice (e.g. Lasithi plateau). We were surprised by the extremely nice food they served in the evening with vegetables harvested in their own garden. Food was very fresh and made with heart and was usually something specific from Crete or Greece. They have 12 apartments only so you will find a very personal atmosphere never giving you the impression of being in a Hotel. Guests are a nice mix of ages and origins with a friendly atmosphere. We wish to come back one day! Thanks!

We stayed here for a week. Alice and Kat were great hosts and Alice makes a delicious cocktail ??. The hotel was immaculately clean throughout as was the pool and dining area. The pool is the perfect temperature and has superb views of the surrounding beautiful scenery. There are also showers at the poolside and plenty of comfortable sun loungers. The hotel has a chef who cooks fresh food daily and to a great standard. Room was cleaned daily. The clean included fresh towels and bed sheets every other day. Upon arrival, my wife and I were introduced to the hotel by Alice who showed us around our boutique room. The rooms have air conditioning. We were greeted with a box of treats which included biscuits and Raki. Room amenities included kitchen appliances, washing up liquid, toiletries, kitchen roll, coffee and tea, salt and pepper, ice and condiments as well as bottled water in the fridge. The hotel offers free wifi which is fast and has coverage throughout the entire complex. Cutlery and crockery were included. On the first night, Alice very kindly gave a complimentary cocktail of our choice (which was delicious). Alice and Kat are both extremely helpful and provide superb recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, beaches and general sightseeing. They even go as far as to offer directions and local maps. Milatos beach is a mere 15 minute walk from the hotel and has surrounding restaurants and shops. Alice and Kat were very accommodating and offered us a free late check out allowing us time to enjoy a stress free final day. There is a local Taverna which is fantastic for snacks and dinner. The local villages (a stone's throw away) have traditional Greek nights with live music. This hotel is cute, quirky, quaint, quiet and provides the perfect environment to relax! My wife and I enjoyed one of our best holidays here and will almost certainly revisit.

The place overlooks the bay and is sitting in the beautiful mountains of Milatos in between olive trees. Good size room, comfortable beds and kitchen in case you want to prepare breakfast or dinner. The hosts are two French ladies whose company we really enjoyed. More than fair prices for breakfast, cocktails and dinner. The chef is superb and cooks a menu of the day for dinner. Basically you get a down to earth 3 course meal with nice wine every night. At Milatos Village, we have eaten some of the most memorable meals we have had in Crete.

Amazing place ran by two amazing owners! The place is just lovely and so is their sense of what makes the visitors happy. :) super nice and down-to-earth while having the best food for dinner in approx. 50kms radius - I am sure. Traditionally Greek food is all we got and we (me and boyfriend) were never disappointed. The pool is the best place to be so no matter if you want to go around a lot or just relax at the pool, this hotel is for you. They organized a car rental for us so easily that we just felt so well treated. The bar was a nice place to meet other people and have a chat - mostly in French I have to say ;) but it really felt like a small village full of relaxing people after a few days (so the name is perfectly chosen!). So I highly recommend this place if you want to spend a few nice days on Crete with a perfect apartment hotel not too packed with people and great food&drinks and an amazing pool.

My stay was fantastic. The warmth the ladies radiate from the moment you check in to the moment you leave, was just perfect. The best opportunity to switch off without turning off entirely. The apartment style rooms leave the options of how much or how far you travel solely to you. Kat and Alice will fill you with knowledge and recommendations as much as show their true love for the country they call home. The food is all local and the evening menu you can opt for is full of the most fresh produce the market can offer on any given day. The cocktails are carefully curated by Alice on the bar that will delight anyone whom tries them. Anything I could say would not do my stay true justice, I would say go and see it for yourself and you’ll be sure to return or even extend your stay as I did
