Δύσκολο να ανέβεις μέχρι εκεί όταν όμως τα καταφέρεις αποζημιώνεσαι από αυτό που αντικρύζεις!!! Νομίζεις ότι βρίσκεσαι στον ουρανό!!!!! Built on Aenos a small church of Zoodochos Pigi !! Difficult to get there when you do it but you are compensated by what you see !!! You think you are in heaven !!!!!

Wielka msza impreza u celebracja w pierwszy piątek po Wielkanocy Little known abandoned but alive monastery. After the quake, the monks left but were rebuilt after many years. Great mass party and celebration on the first Friday after Easter

Πολύ κοντά στη Μονή υπάρχει πηγή με καθαρό νερό από τα έγκατα του Αίνου που ξεδιψάει πιστούς και επισκέπτες. Γύρω από την Μονή αν είστε τυχεροί θα συναντήσετε πρόβατα, αίγες και ίσως τα άγρια άλογα του Αίνου που αποτελεί τον βιότοπό τους. Η πρόσβαση ειδικά το Χειμώνα γίνεται μόνο με 4X4! Απίστευτη εμπειρία, καταπληκτική θέα που κόβει την ανάσα! The Holy Monastery of Zoodochou Pigi is located on the East side of Mount Ainos, 800 meters above the village of Arginia. Very close to the Monastery there is a spring with clean water from the bowels of Ainos that quenches the thirst of believers and visitors. Around the Monastery if you are lucky you will meet sheep, goats and maybe the wild horses of Ainos which is their habitat. Access especially in Winter is only possible with 4X4! Incredible experience, amazing views that take your breath away!
B	Benji KJ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly, it's definitely not worth going to this place if you don't have a proper off road vehicle, and even then it's still pretty dangerous and stressful to get to as the roads are so bad and stoney. However, after getting there after all that, it was very interesting to see this random monastry tucked away in the mountains with lots of goats kept around.
