★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was nervous going with car hire companies at the airport as if you read the reviews they're not in anyway good and found Vacnaza on google maps with great reviews.. They dropped the car to me at the hotel and even do I was a little late dropping the car back they had no problem... I also left a work phone in the car which they have just posted to me.. Highly recommend them!..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unprofessional experience. After booking online, I got an email asking if i can pay a deposit by paypal. I replied and asked for details for how to and i got no response from Vacanza. And the day of the car rental I got a cancellation notice. They now claim to have tried to reach me but the email thread they shared shows that they were clearly contacting someone else (different name and email!). The least they could do is apologize for their mistake, and try to fix it/rebook like any normal travel agency would, but they did not do that. This is the worst experience i have had from any car rental place. Luckily there are many other options for Car Rentals available. AVOID Vacanza!

New cars comparing to the competition. My next time in Chania I will trust them again for a car rental. Easy communication by email and phone. Pick up and drop at the airport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was pretty nervous about hiring a car overseas as we all hear stories of hidden fees and charges once a vehicle is returned. I walked in and requested a car for that day, and even when I turned up two hours later than agreed (sorry) they were still able to get me a car.
The process was efficient and I grew to like my little Nissan Note, even though it initially felt like I was driving a minibus through the narrow roads and any driving skills I had seemed to desert me.
Returning the car was a breeze and I had nothing to worry about. I highly recommend Vacanza and will definitely use them again if I return to this amazing town!
