★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Winery absolutely unexpected beauty on top of the mountain! A warm meeting with an excellent employee of the winery, a detailed professional story about the products, and of course a wonderful wine! In our opinion, a particularly tasty wine is Opohnetpa Syrah-Kotsifali Reserve Dry Red 2013!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After making a long drive to visit this winery, we were met with confusion as to what we wanted then asked "do you have an appointment" in an entirely empty cellar door, the wine was then explained to us without any opportunity to taste. Then after purchasing 3 glasses that were poured well below standard and took 10 minutes to arrive with some limited cheeses, we watched as other guests were given a full tasting experience, that perhaps we should have requested (no idea nothing was offered) on leaving the underdressed (gym shorts and shirt) staff who smelled poorly (BO) could not get the EFTPOS machine working. A beautiful location and fabulous product ruined by an absolute lack of service and respect for the customer, don't waste your time, when there are so many other great vineyards through Crete.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a lovely winery, with a fantastic tour and very good wine. They were understaffed due to Covid, but our tour guide, Andreas, was attentive and educational. The wines both red and white were very good. And the tasting was generous pours and delicious cheese and bread with tomatoes and feta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful way to spend a couple hours learning about the wine making process. Andreas was a fabulous host and offered us an informative insight of their vineyard. And, of course, delicious wines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still on the road back to our hotel, we’ve had such a wonderful experience here that I had to write a review right away.
One of the sons, Andreas, was our guide. He mentioned he had to step in as a guide for today but for all we knew he had been doing this for a long time. His knowledge about the winery, the land of Crete, the rich history and a lot more is an enrichment to our holiday and will be a long lasting memory.
Thank you so much Andreas! We’ll send our friends your way ??
