ANNA CARS - CHANIA AIRPORT

No hidden charges. Met on arrival by very nice lady. Car was parked 2 mins away in the airport parking area. Low mileage but very small engine. Fuel policy - return with same amount as when picked up. Drop off easy, parking area just 2 mins from terminal, 24hrs with free shuttle bus back to terminal - very easy.

Car was very nice. However we were very disappointed in the GPS. We reserved a GPS for 5 Euros a day but when we arrived to pick up the car we were told the GPS in the car was broken and were given a TomTom GPS hand held unit. We could never get it to work. The message displayed said it could not get a Valid GPS signal. We wrote Anna's car and they suggested we reset the unit but there was no reset switch. We paid a total of 45 euros and feel were ripped off. We sent another email to Anna's stating we could never get the GPS to work and they said they would look into it. We have not heard back from them and it has been over a week now. I suspect we will never hear from them again. Be very careful when dealing with this company.

Why can't all hire car firms be like this?! No deposit, no excess, second driver free of charge (no other hidden costs either!) and they will meet you where you want, to pick up and drop off the car. We had an excellent brand new car to use in Crete for two weeks. Just excellent service with no hidden nasties!

Anna Cars is the best car rental company ever. The service and attitude to the customer is perfect. 1. I got a new, clean and fully functional car 2. Before my holidays i had to chage the place of taking the car from Chania to Heraklion - it was not a problem 3. I booked car for 2 weeks and during my holidys i had to shorten the rental just for 1 week and return the car to another parking than i declared. It was not a problem also. Moreover, i got full refund for 1 week. At the end i would conclude that if you are looking for a safe and reliable car rental company you shoud call Anna Cars.

Pretty good experience all round, would certainly book with them again. First off, we went with Anna cars because they offer a VERY comprehensive insurance policy. You don't need to worry about the car getting scratched, dinged etc because the policy is fully comprehensive. Having seen the general condition of cars in Crete, I think this is essential (many cars have a ding or two). Before booking, I was advised by a helpful employee named Kostas who made the process very easy and laid out the various options for me. Secondly, the car was pretty new and in good condition. We opted for a Fiat Panda which was what arrived at arrivals. It had everything we needed (i.e. aircon), so absolutely no complaints there. The agent was a little late picking us up (15 mins or so), but that wasn't a big deal. Dropping the car off at the end of the holiday (boo!!) was equally easy. Park it in the car park and drop the key off at the booth. They run a shuttle bus that takes about 1 minute to get back to the airport, which seemed to work perfectly. They weren't cheap, but not expensive either. I felt they offered good value for money, and knowing you won't receive a bill for repairs at the end of the trip was quite comforting. Keep up the good work guys.

I was reading on tripadvisor that it s better to go for a local company when renting a car in Crete and out of 3 or 4 suggestions there, Anna was the first company to reply to my inquiry and then it was also the cheapest. I got a new Vw Up that was just perfect for a really good price with full insurance and had nothing to worry about. They brought it to Chania Airport and told me how to simply drop it off in the parking lot next to the airport. I recommend choosing a local company instead of the big corporation and also highly reccomend Anna Cars as they brought me a new car for a really cheap price considering it was full insurance and no need for a credit card.

The best experience we had so far from a car rental. Our flight was delayed for 12 hours and Kostas arranged a 03:30 a.m. delivery in Chania Airport with no additional charge. Katerina was waiting for us with a brand new VW Polo, very polity, very friendly. Rental agreement within 5m, no surprises, no small prints in contract. Paid with credit card, no fees, no deposit, no quarantee. I recommend ANNA CARS with no fear, they were amazing.

Have dealt with Kostas about 3-4 times over a number of years and he goes out of his way to help every time. He was especially helpful and accommodating when my father passed away and I needed a car asap. Will always be grateful for this. I have just booked again for this August and look forward to our family’s first trip back to Greece since the beginning of the pandemic.
