★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay if you are looking for a more relaxed destination, away from the crowded mainstream tourist traps.
Food: I have been to Creta many times and Enagron's local cuisine is at the the very top of all the places I have eaten. Also, most of the products and ingredients (olive oil, cheese, tomatoes, lamb etc) are either from their very own garden or from the nearby villages.
Rooms: traditional architecture, large spaces, clean and with very comfortable beds.
Activities: from in house small time activities such as herb gathering to more ambitious adventures such as hiking to Psiloritis mountain top, to more touristy excursions such as visiting the Arkadi monastery.
Location: beautiful inland Mediterranean landscape; enjoy relaxing in the pool with a stunning view to nearby cliffs, stay cool during the summer nights thanks to the light breeze from the hills

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place, with delicious traditional food from Creta, excellent environment and friendly owners willing to help anytime. The place offers a bunch of activities for children and adults. If anyone would think to visit Creta, i would 100% recommend to stay at this place. Looking forward to visit again in the near future!

In Enagron we enjoyed first-hand experience of farm life and dishes that speak to Creta’s flavors, in a region that is still untouched by mass tourism. We had the chance to meet dedicated people preserving local farming practices, and authentic traditions.
The rooms were spotless, beds were extremely comfortable, we enjoyed relaxing showers with endless hot water, while the wifi worked like charm.

I totally recommend it, especially for nature lovers who appreciate authentic experiences :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ecotourism being today a more and more adopted term for responsible travelling but often misused, Enagron is the ideal place to experience holidays in a beautiful landscape where human intervention is charming and binds harmoniously with the environment. Leisure or educational activities are offered to both adults and children according to their interests. Food and beverage services are meticulously prepared with mainly local products. We enjoyed our hosts' company and admired their efforts towards the well-being of visitors and local people. We were happy to learn that the close by village of Axos remains active also because of the existence of Enagron. If you want to visit Crete, Enagron is definitely a destination you have to discover!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place to relax in a beautiful, peaceful location. Excellent food at breakfast and dinner and a tasteful atmosphere throughout. Great family-friendly hikes nearby. The staff is truly impressive, friendly and thoughtful, especially Aphrodite and Adonis! We had a wonderful stay with our 3-year-old and will definitely be back - the weather in April was perfect and it is reasonably priced.
