★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hired a car from Mike at Minoan Tours to get from Heraklion airport to Sitia and back this summer. The car (Peugeot) was clean and tidy and was waiting for us in Heraklion airport parking as promised, We returned it to Heraklion when coming back home. The price was good, exactly as agreed with Mike by mail, with no extras to pay. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the past six years we have used Minoan Tours Cars and have nothing but praise for the personal service we have experienced on each and every occasion.
Michael Anagnostakis, the owner, or one of his employees,will personally meet you upon arrival at Heraklion Airport and take you to the car you have reserved and run through the details of the vehicle. We have never had this kind of service from any other car hire company and one of the main reasons we go back to this company every year.
Michael or his colleague will also answer questions you may have about route finding or the best way to get to your destination.
We have no hesitation in recommending this car hire company.

Though avoid the Nissan Note 5 doors,1400 cc in the D category Group, they are old and very basic models that burn fuel with poor AC. The car we rented AC broke, though to Michael's credit he sent a new car out the same day. Sadly it was another
Nissan Note 5 though.
The reason why I picked this company was due to the high ratings, though looking at the reviewers many of them have only ever reviewed this Minoan Cars. Tad suspicious but never the less I would recommend this company, though check the age and spec of the car first.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used Minoan Tour Cars this summer from Heraklion Airport. The car was clean, modern and reliable. The contact was cheerful and very helpful but what I particularly liked and what impressed me the most about this Company was we paid exactly what was quoted. There were no hidden costs, all inclusive, unlimited miles and full insurance. If we ever return to Crete, and we hope to, it is beautiful, I would have no hesitation in using this Company again.
(Important detail - Our Insurance included zero excess, there was no deposit amount to pay if we had a claim.)

We found Minoan Tours in the internet, called them and within less than half hour, we got our car. Excellent service, a nice car and a fair price. We arrive almoust on time , and was welcomed by one nice guy Marios ( hope the name written is correct) very pleaseful and nice person , he even give us some advise on where to go to find beautiful beaches and places. The Ford Fiesta that we rented was very realible car for us ( petrol & confort) , and we enjoy every trip in Crete. For future customers , do not esitate to chat with Michael & his team for a very nice colaboration.

Communication by emails was easy with fast answers.
