★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good room can sleep up to 5 people. Clean. Good air condition. There is a fridge, kettle. Was problem with hot water it wasn't so hot - may be because everyone was using it at the evening. If you need something extra can ask guys from restaurant and get it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a beautiful day at the samaria gorge my boyfriend and I went to the taverna paralia to have a refreshing beer. After we paid we need to hurry to catch the last ferry, but my boyfriend forgot his phone at the taverna. 2 Minutes later he went back to check if his phone is still at the table, but the waiter already cleaned up the table and said there was no phone - but we both are sure it was there!!! We even tracked the iphone at the taverna the whole evening till 11 pm (the time the taverna closes, no coincidence if you ask us)! We went back by ferry the next day and they told us they dont have the phone. What an unfriendly and bold waiter. We won't come back and are highly infuriated!!! If you go there, wach your belongings

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel next to the port. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are really clean; though in the morning the room smelled like rotting onions. There is only hand soap therefore you have to bring your own body and hair soap or you can go to the supermarket next door also the owner is really nice! Sadly the food at the Paralia Tavern is good but some things could be better! The ntolmadakia were a bit mushy and the french fries were precooked. The shrimps are great though as well as the salads.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here after our hike at samaria gorge. The owner was really friendly and even upgraded us to a larger room! The views of the sea from the two balconies in the room were fantastic. The room itself was very clean and the bathroom is either incredibly well maintain or newly renovated. AC was good and strong. Welcome relief after samaria gorge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple, clean rooms; hotel manager was somewhat rude (scolded us for not eating at his restaurant!).
We used this hotel as a base to start our hike of Samaria Gorge the next morning. This means we hiked it upwards, whereas most tourists hike it the other way round, starting from Omalos or Samaria village. This helped avoid throngs of hikers and was an extra challenge.
