Peaceful location with good transport connection to Rethymnom(bus 1,30e.taxi 10 e),two good Tavernas and small shop nearby.
Good roads/trails for bicycle starts also nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ nice place just a few steps away from tavernas and small shop. perfect if you want to be oustside of the city, in a small villae, but also not far from the city. Only 10 minutes from Retymnon by car.
The Villa is very well equiped and comfortable.
And the service is perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Villa Sofia, truly, is a splendid place! A 10 minutes car drive from the centre of Rethymno, the villa is situated in a quiet neighbourhood in the lovely village of Prines. The spacious house itself is clean and equipped with a modern kitchen, three bedrooms, multiple showers. In the morning, we would have our breakfast on the terrace by the pool. Should the hot Cretan sun become unbearable, one could always retreat to the balcony upstairs or simply get into the car and explore rural and urban Crete! It should also be stressed that our host was very kind indeed and always available in case we needed him (insider tip: ask him about the boat hire!). Summa summarum, we cannot recommend Villa Sofia more highly!
