Hotel Metaxa, Kalamaki, Zakynthos - Zakynthos

Affordable, friendly, calm and well managed little hotel. The interior isn’t the designer’s first choice but everything is clean and the staff is willing to help with any problem. ! wifi and AC in the rooms are for an extra cost thought and breakfast is very repetitive (but I guess that’s just a greek thing)

Lovely little family run hotel. Clean, tidy and quiet. Rooms are good, shower is excellent. Breakfast is okay. Staff are very nice. The parrot is noisy, doesn't stop talking, lol. Close to the strip so not far to walk home at night. Would definitely come back here.

Family run/ typically Greek accomodation..(basic) simple but clean. Great location lovely family, any issues ask and they be resolved...

Can't fault the hotel,the breakfast may not appeal to some as its continental, croissa nts,toast etc, would definitely return.

Great location. Nice apartments. Basic but clean. Sometimes had problem with hot water but soon got it sorted.

I do not recommend this hotel, the owner is very unpleasant, for the smallest things he asks for money, for boiling water in the kettle because my grandmother wanted to take medicine, we wanted to boil water in the kettle, he asked for money, very unpleasant service, on the last day he did not give to eat breakfast for which we paid, he lied to us saying that he called from the hospital in which we were the day before with grandma and we asked him for directions, and he said that he was looking for us so that we would pay for the hospital, even though we had insurance and we did not even provide our data in the hospital, because even us they did not accept, he kicked us out of the hotel at 9 o'clock because he said that we would have to pay for the hospital otherwise, I do not know if it was that he needed a room faster or something, but we had to sit all day in the heat waiting for the plane, we are very disappointed I do not recommend this hotel with all my heart, it is worth paying more and not to worry about A quarrelsome owner who sits at the reception desk all day… this man spoiled our vacation

We came here before covid, on our return the owner gave us our keys, and said same room as before. That was a nice touch to be remembered after such a long time. The rooms are cleaned daily. The shower nice, and the staff are so friendly. Will not hesitate to come back....and hopefully soon. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable
