★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A chanced holiday during this pandemic and a perfect place to escape to. One of the warmest and most welcoming places I’ve visited; comfortable apartment, family-run, room enough to relax all day, but very social around the pool bar at night, with Manos at the helm.
Up the tack, an equally friendly restaurant or choose from a few tavernas along the promenade to eat great food whilst watching the sun set.
Underrated by travel agents makes this a little and secret gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay. We had a standard studio apartment as we felt that upgrading to one of the new studios would be a waste of money. Studio was huge, with 2 balconies and cooking facilities. Great swimming pool, standards of cleanliness were top notch. Staff was welcoming and great to chat to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a remarkable week our family of 4 had at Mike hotel & apartments. We loved everything about our stay. Convenient location as the drive to several places were quick and productive (with a car hire place right next to the hotel). Fabulous food with amazing service and great prices. The pool and bar at the hotel are super family-friendly, with a wonderfully comfortable and pleasing environment.
One of the things that made our visit most unforgettable was the fantastic staff - they were so warm and hospitable, helping out with everything and yet still having time to manage a smile and a brilliant conversation. Mike Hotel and Apartments is a family run business, which makes it even more incredible. The family are very amiable, all of the hard work they have put into this delightful building is impressive and it shows just how determined they are. There is absolutely no doubt that we will return the next time we come to Crete.
