The legitimacy of my expectations was further strengthened by the great professional and kind behavior of the staff of "Global Rent a Car Chania Airport". The manager of the establishment, Mrs. Vanessa, and her colleague, Mr. Theodor, were very kind, answered questions objectively and did not regret the time to explain the specifics of driving a brand other than the one I use at home. I appreciated their qualities again when I forgot my driving glasses in the car just before departure. They were able not only to find me willingly, but also to work together on a way to send them home to me. They helped me a lot. When I go to Crete next year, I will definitely turn to this company and, if possible, the same workers with a car rental again. I am already looking forward to further cooperation and I will recommend it to all acquaintances and friends. Milan, CZ
c	chrissa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good scammer, had to insist to write down minor car defects and refused to rent without the full insurance, although on phone call he didn't mention it's mandatory when I asked. Avoid at all costs!
b	bernadetta wieczerzyńsk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They tried to trick us and we spend 2 hours arguing about the terms of our agreement. We bought an insurance and they forced us to buy additional one. We also booked small car for 5 and they gave us big one for 7. This place is not recommended.

Never again, the worst company I have ever seen, we did through Ryanair with full insurance, and they made us pay another one and they won’t give the “deposit” back, so should change the name for it, as every company I have ever seen the deposit is given back when returning the car!! You will spent 2 hours with them just for them to rober you!!

This was confusing, although likely Ryanair adding an extra charge. Theodore was really nice and helpful with suggestions of places to visit. The car was great and the pickup and drop off was easy. Would recommend this company but check if booking through a third party.

The broker they use, Holiday Autos, does not explain about local excess and directions to the office are wrong. It's turn left, not turn right, outside the airport. They close at 9pm, another thing that is not mentionned until you complete your booking. And finally the car had a flat tyre warning, which was not picked up on taking the car out, which fortunately did not hinder us. Wont be using either holiday autos or Your/Global again.
M	Michael Edlmüller on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourist trap - better go for well-known rental companies Charged us „extra insurance“ because of not working deposit on driver‘s credit card with a prepaid voucher. No other card was accepted. Many people had the same issue in the 2 hours we were there in July. The oldest rental we ever received had damages on nearly every part of the car body. Suprisingly some were not stated at the protocol. Taking photos when receiving the car highly recommended. Never again.

Refused to even try my debit card which works fine in the rest of the world and island. Forced my partner use her card and refused to rent without extra insurance. Unfortunately, it was the only option at that moment. Also, I had to insist to write on the paper light damages. Unprofessional behaviour in general. The car itself was fine but the windshield wipers needed to be changed long ago and this was really annoying because of the sand.
