★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good cars with almost full insurance (without tires and underneath of the car). Pay with cash no credit card. Good fuel policy (return with the same amount).
Car was in good condition (Hunday i10), not perfectly clean, but it was ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recommend AthensCars - they are really the best and the cheapest if you consider all the services included in the rental price. It's not only a car, but also a full insurance and no credit card is needed (no deposit). Their cars are not the newest on the island but definitely very reliable and enough to move from one place to another. Cooperation with them is really seamless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since my wife and I used AthensCars for the 1st time in 2011 to our last time in June 2019, we have always come back to this company when visiting Crete. We find this local company with reasonable prices, nice cars and full insurance coverage easy to choose. We are met at the airport by a friendly person carrying a sign with my name, taking us to the parking lot close by. There are no surprises at the legal procedure at the handover of the car. We shall definitely use AthensCars again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars fantastic service, we always use Athens Cars when travelling to Crete even though I'm a member of a loyalty program of another global company with an office at Chania.
No hidden extras, child seats are free and you can pay in cash with no hold on your credit card. You're met in arrivals by friendly staff, taken to the office where the paperwork is no longer than 5 mins. If child seats were requested they're already installed. Cars may not be the newest or flashiest but always in good, clean condition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The car wasn't new and had seen better days. They collected us from the airport and after doing the paperwork and paying we drove away. The car was technically OK and we had no problems or issues during the rental. The price covered everything except damages to tires and the underneath of the car. We will surely use them again.
